How to arrive?
We are located in Punta Arenas. It's best to sleep here at least 1 night before our trip.
Below you can find how to arrive in Punta Arenas from different locations:
Several daily flights to Punta Arenas airport (3-4 hours). From there to the city center by shared transfer or by taxi (30 min).
Several daily bus services (3 hours).
Some daily bus services from Torres del Paine to Puerto Natales (2-3 hours). In Puerto Natales connection to Punta Arenas.
Few daily bus services from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas (12 hours). Some of them require to change in Rio Grande.
Few daily bus services from El Calafate to Puerto Natales (5 hours). In Puerto Natales, connection to Punta Arenas.
What to bring?
For the comfort of all, we recommend traveling as light as possible. Please leave your extra luggage at your accommodation in Punta Arenas.
As the camp is built on wooden boardwalks and platforms, it's not convenient to bring a suitcase. You'd rather bring a backpack or a bag.
The Patagonian fjords are characterized by their often cold, humid and windy weather – even in summer. You should therefore bring clothes which protect you from the cold and the rain. There is a detailed list of suggested clothing here (link to the listing above).
- Warm and waterproof clothes (in layers)
- Hat, gloves/mittens, scarf
- Extra clothes
- Sturdy shoes with non-slip sole
- Sneakers for the time at the camp
- Sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses)
- Personal hygiene articles
- Personal first aid kit and medications
- Possibly some medicine against sea sickness
- Headlamp
- Small day pack
- Binoculars
- Notebook
- Camera (incl. charger, cables, memory cards etc.)
We pick up all our guests at their respective accommodation in the central part of the city. At the end of the tour we'll bring you back there again.
We offer payment by bank transfer or deposit and accept US Dollars as well as Chilean Pesos. Please find the bank details in our T&C.

By paying the regular tour price, you are entitled to occupy a bed in a double dome. Depending on the group size and composition you'll have to share the dome with another passenger or you can occupy it just by yourself.
Single supplement will be added if single accommodation is requested.
All our guides speak Spanish and English.
Pick up usually starts between 7am and 7:30am. However, due to the weather conditions, we might leave a bit earlier or later than this.
The exact time of pick up is confirmed and communicated the day before departure.
Please plan your trip to Punta Arenas with some reservation, as the navigation is subject to the weather.
The group usually is back in Punta Arenas between 6pm and 7pm.
Please plan your trip out of Punta Arenas with some reservation, as the navigation is subject to the weather. We recommend that you take another night in Punta Arenas and leave only the day after the tour. If you have to travel the same day, please buy the ticket only for a late evening flight (from 11pm onwards)
