A brief journey into the history of the Strait of Magellan
We start from Tree Point sailing towards Eagle Bay, where we disembarked to see the remains of an old whaling station, a testament to a fundamental era in Magellan's maritime history.
From there we began a Coastal trek to the San Isidro Lighthouse, crossing forest and coastline until reaching one of the southernmost historic lighthouses in Chile.
We visited the San Isidro Lighthouse Museum And we pause to share a coffee in our refuge, before starting the return voyage to Punta Árbol.
